Synopsis

Throwing Snow's "Shadower" video is a disorienting collage of found footage built around rave culture and altered states. Images of early 1990s dancefloors, crowded house parties, scientific laboratories, outer space, pill production, and holiday revelers flash past in quick succession. The visuals move between communal euphoria and detached, surreal imagery, mirroring the track's layered bass, ghostly vocal fragments, and unsettled melodic textures. Rather than following a conventional narrative, the video creates the sensation of drifting through fragments of nightlife, memory, and intoxication.

• The video accompanied "Shadower," the A-side of Throwing Snow's "Shadower / Sanctum" release, which arrived in 2011 through the newly launched Sneaker Social Club label.

• Sneaker Social Club was established by Jamie Russell, who also ran the labels Hypercolour and Glass Table. Its early identity was tied to vinyl culture, rave nostalgia, and unusual bass-driven club music.

• The single's 12-inch edition included a limited A2 poster featuring sneaker artwork by Amsterdam-based artist Gaby Gaby.
