Synopsis

Bombay Show Pig's "Fingerprint" unfolds as a carefully arranged surrealist tableau. Two sharply styled women interact with strange mechanical vessels, dark liquid, fabric and oversized graphic surfaces, turning an industrial space into a geometric fashion-art laboratory. The imagery moves between precise gestures, choreographed poses and abstract close-ups, with black, white and yellow dominating the palette. As the song develops, the controlled visual order becomes increasingly forceful, culminating in a striking brass-led finale that gives the piece an almost militaristic sense of momentum.

• The video appeared in May 2013, several months after "Fingerprint" had first been released on Bombay Show Pig's debut album, *Vulture / Provider*.

• "Fingerprint" runs for 3:31 on the album. It was also issued on the limited *Making Friends EP 10"*, which included the original track and an Arts The Beatdoctor remix.
