Synopsis

A small bird journeys through a surreal woodland after eating a mysterious berry. The experience quickly expands into a colorful, disorienting dream filled with shifting landscapes, strange creatures, exaggerated animation and playful encounters with other birds and fantasy figures. As the electronic track and MeMe's vocals build, the bird's trip becomes increasingly unpredictable, moving from whimsical discovery to darker, more suggestive imagery. The video closes the adventure with the same irreverent, psychedelic energy that defines its journey through "Wanderland."

Factoids & Trivia

• "Wanderland" was released as part of Hermanos Inglesos' 2010 debut album, "The Wander of You." The track was promoted as the album's third single and was issued through PIAS.

• Hermanos Inglesos are Belgian brothers Didier and Cedric Engels. Their music combines electronic production with influences from rock and indie.

• The video's online release dates to July 27, 2010.

• The project used a collaborative animation process. Michèle Vanparys, Michélé De Feudis, Dries Bastiaensen and Kristof Luyckx are credited with the animation, while Stijn Deconinck and Luyckx handled the editing.

• The clip was later included in the Animafest Zagreb program, where it was presented as a 3-minute-30-second HD music video.
