Jel's "Look Up" unfolds as a surreal chain of fleeting encounters rather than a conventional narrative. Faces appear, disappear, and briefly lock onto one another in public spaces, with people observed on streets, in transit, and among the passing crowd. The video turns ordinary moments of looking into something watchful and slightly unsettling, matching the track's jagged synths, rough drum programming, and fragmented vocal textures. Its loose, chance-driven structure makes the city feel like a constantly shifting network of glances.

• The video premiered on October 30, 2013, as part of the campaign for Jel's third solo album, "Late Pass."

• "Look Up" is the fifth track on "Late Pass," which was released by Anticon on August 20, 2013. The song runs for approximately four minutes and 38 seconds.

• "Late Pass" was Jel's first proper solo album in seven years. The title referred to both the delay in completing the record and the feeling that some listeners were late to recognize his work.
