Synopsis

Zola Jesus moves through a surreal landscape of desert dunes, mineral-like formations, shadowy caves, and shifting textures. Her figure appears alternately isolated, obscured, and transformed as the imagery moves between stark natural environments and abstract close-ups. Water, light, and vibrating patterns suggest an unseen physical force connecting the singer to the surrounding world. Inspired in part by the metamorphosis of moths, the video turns "Vessel" into a dreamlike study of transformation, duality, and emergence.
