Factoids & Trivia

• "Fake Fields and Beautiful Lies" was the second video in a planned four-part series centered on women and their relationships with love. It followed "Dark Light," which dealt with illusion, betrayal, and abandonment.

• The video was shot entirely in Mount Etna Park in Sicily. The volcanic setting was chosen for its stark, almost lunar appearance, which reinforces the song's themes of isolation and emotional oppression.

• DB Produzioni handled the production, while the filming was carried out by 3112HTM and Rootsteller. 3112HTM also completed the editing and post-production.

• The video received a live premiere at Palermo's Candelai venue on April 3, 2014, before its online release in May.
