Synopsis

The imagery suggests a journey through outer space, though the setting remains deliberately abstract and theatrical rather than realistic. Mechanical forms and projected textures surround the suited traveler, creating a sense of isolation and weightlessness. The video mirrors "Solace" with a restrained, atmospheric visual language, turning the song's electronic pulse into a short cosmic tableau.

Factoids & Trivia

• "Solace" was released in 2010 and runs for approximately 3 minutes and 58 seconds.

• The video was the first music video made with what Stephane Leonard described as an actual budget. Although the funds were limited, they covered an external lighting and grip crew, as well as props including the space suit.

• The animated effects and post-production work were created by Martin Eichhorn.

• The apparent spaceship seen in the video is actually the projector at Berlin's Planetarium am Insulaner. Its futuristic mechanical appearance became one of the video's key visual elements.

• Leonard later described the production as a major step forward from his earlier lo-fi and DIY work. He also said that the video helped bring his work to the attention of people outside his immediate artistic circle.
