Synopsis

A young woman returns to a remote trailer and finds no comfort in the home or the people waiting there. Isolated in her bedroom, she withdraws into a strange, dreamlike state. Water, reflected images, and carefully staged physical transformations blur the line between escape and self-discovery. As the song builds around loneliness, alienation, and the need for human connection, her private ritual becomes an intense confrontation with identity, confinement, and the possibility of becoming someone new.

• The video was released on December 19, 2013, ahead of the January 14, 2014 release of McMorrow's album "Post Tropical."

• "Red Dust" forms the middle chapter of a three-video narrative with "Cavalier" and "Glacier." The three films were designed to be viewed together, following members of the same troubled family.

• The production was credited to Colonel Blimp, with Tamsin Glasson and Brian Welsh listed as producers.
