Synopsis

A woman appears to awaken inside a clinical laboratory, where she gradually discovers her body, appearance and surroundings. As she moves through the sterile space, mirrors, close-ups and retro-styled imagery turn the setting into something dreamlike and sensual. Her curiosity develops into a playful exploration of physicality and self-awareness, with Brynjolfur's warm electronic groove providing the soundtrack. The video combines science-fiction imagery, beauty-shot aesthetics and deliberately artificial visual effects, presenting the character as if she were an experiment learning what it means to be alive.

• The video was premiered by XLR8R on July 24, 2013, shortly after the track's release period.

• "I Love You" marked Brynjolfur's debut release on Eskimo Recordings. The track was included on the label's 2013 compilation The Pink Collection.

• The official release presented the original track alongside remixes by A Copycat and Martin Brodin, Pharao Black Magic, and Peter Visti.
