Synopsis

A group of young offenders is sent to clean up an abandoned hotel as part of a community service project. Their assignment turns into a fight for survival when they discover that the building is home to Jacob Goodnight, a massive and brutally violent killer. Trapped inside, the group must overcome fear, mistrust, and Goodnight's relentless pursuit.

• See No Evil was the first major feature released by WWE Films and was distributed by Lionsgate.

• The film was shot at Warner Roadshow Studios on Australia's Gold Coast, using constructed hotel interiors to create its central location.

• Writer Dan Madigan originally developed the story around a killer stalking victims in an isolated setting. The role of Jacob Goodnight was then tailored specifically to Kane's imposing physical presence.

• The film went through several working titles, including "Eye Scream Man," "The Goodnight Man," and "Goodnight," before becoming See No Evil.

• The hook-and-chain attacks were initially expected to require computer-generated effects. Kane became skilled enough with the prop that the sequences were performed live.

• Kane performed his own stunts for the production. The role also marked his feature-film debut.

• The theatrical release was followed by a DVD edition containing behind-the-scenes material, makeup and effects featurettes, and commentary involving Kane and the filmmaking team.
