Factoids & Trivia
- Released by Warner Bros. on May 7, 2004, the film was the second and final theatrical movie starring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen together, following It Takes Two (1995).
- It was also the last film to feature both sisters. Ashley Olsen retired from acting shortly after its release, while Mary-Kate continued appearing in selected projects.

- Simple Plan appear as themselves, connecting Roxy's musical ambitions to the band's story line.
- The film opened to approximately $5.96 million in North America. At the time, that was reported as the lowest opening weekend for a movie playing in more than 3,000 theaters.
- Although the story is set largely in New York City, much of the production was filmed in Canada. American Humane monitored the animal action filmed in New York City.
- A falling sequence involving the main characters on scaffolding was created with a fan, slow movement, and post-production speed changes rather than an actual free fall.
- The Warner Bros. logo is stylized as a clock face in the opening credits, matching the film's time-focused title.
