Synopsis

Filter perform in a surreal, waterlogged world where reality seems to shift from one impossible location to another. The band appears inside a crashed, burning airplane floating in the ocean, underwater without diving equipment, and in a tiny rowboat adrift at sea. The imagery then moves to a house being engulfed by water, with performances continuing on its roof. Supermodel Jaime King appears throughout the dreamlike sequence, adding another mysterious presence to the video's disorienting visual world.

Factoids & Trivia

• The video was released in connection with "Take A Picture," the second single from Filter's 1999 album "Title of Record."

• Its central imagery is built around five recurring settings: a burning plane in the ocean, the underwater scenes, a small search boat, a flooded room, and the roof of the submerged house.

• Jaime King appears alongside the band. At the time, she was known primarily as a fashion model and was beginning to move into acting.

• The production credits include cinematographer Daniel Pearl, production designer Andrew Elias, and visual effects artist Jon Merrifield.

• The video's dream logic reflects the song's uneasy subject matter. Richard Patrick later explained that the lyrics were rooted in memories of drunken incidents, including an episode on an airplane in which he removed his shirt while blacked out.
