Synopsis

A young boy spends several days building a model glider while a fictional television countdown plays in the background. Stardust appear on the show in metallic costumes, gradually climbing the chart as the plane takes shape. Tension at home and the TV broadcasts frame the boy's solitary project as an escape into imagination. Once the glider is finished and Stardust reach the top spot, the band leaves the television world and appears among the clouds, where they return the boy's plane after its first flight.
