Synopsis

In a stark, futuristic facility, three children appear to be raised in isolation under the watch of an unseen technological system. Their sterile routine is disrupted when one child experiments with a panel of controls, triggering alarms and plunging the group into confusion and fear. As the situation escalates, the video shifts between clinical imagery and intimate glimpses of the children, leaving their fate and the nature of their environment deliberately unresolved.

Factoids & Trivia

• The video was created for Moby's 2011 album *Destroyed* and was released in 2011.

• Antonin B. Pevny's film was one of the finalists in the "Hello, Future" Music Video Challenge, organized by Saatchi & Saatchi, Vimeo, BUG Music Videos and Moby.

• The competition invited filmmakers to interpret the idea of "Hello, Future" through one of three songs from *Destroyed*. Nearly 600 entries were submitted.

• The video was included on the deluxe edition of *Destroyed*, alongside other finalist interpretations made for the same challenge.

• The concept was developed by Sinisa Vidovic and Antonin Pevny. Elsa Guttmann, Hanna Hartl and Lorenz Ruprecht appear in the cast.

• The challenge's winning entry was a different video for "After," made by Mexican filmmaker Alberto Gomez. His film presented a symbolic story about a young princess becoming queen, while Pevny's finalist version took a colder science-fiction approach.
