Synopsis

Set in a colorful 8-bit video-game world, a small baseball-capped character navigates a hazardous obstacle course while trying to make a series of phone calls. He dodges flying spiked cubes, jumps over Lego-like barriers, and repeatedly faces rejection. The playful action mirrors DJ I-Dee's downtempo beat, scratching, and comic sound effects. Near the end, the track shifts briefly into "1991," extending the retro-game concept and giving the clip a final nostalgic flourish.

• The video was reported in January 2009 as a follow-up to DJ I-Dee's earlier video for "The Right," which featured Jean Grae and Wrekonize.
