Synopsis

The video presents a time-lapse journey through the life cycle of a giant Amazon water lily. A bud rises from the water, opens into a striking flower, and becomes a temporary trap for a pollinating beetle. The insect moves through the flower and is coated in pollen before the bloom changes and releases it. Set against Alphabets Heaven's fragmented electronic beat, the natural footage takes on a dreamlike, almost surreal quality.
