Synopsis

A girl appears to emerge from the darkness of outer space and finds herself alone in an unfamiliar world. As she moves through dreamlike landscapes, strange creatures and shadowy figures surround her, turning her journey into a confrontation with fear and isolation. The imagery gradually shifts from menace to wonder as she reaches toward a brighter, more welcoming presence. By the end, she seems to have found peace, belonging, and a sense of connection with the world around her.

Factoids & Trivia

• "Outro" is the closing track on M83's 2011 double album "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming." Its sparse lyrics and long instrumental build give the video a cinematic, almost science-fiction atmosphere.

• The video was made with a distinctly independent production approach. It was shot on Red Epic, Red Scarlet, and Canon 7D cameras, with underwater photography also used for some of its more otherworldly images.
