Synopsis

After a car accident leaves theater director Jakob blind, he rejects help from Lilly, a woman blind since birth who teaches at a rehabilitation center. When Jakob sets out to visit his terminally ill mother in Russia, Lilly follows him. Their difficult journey becomes a funny, romantic road movie in which both confront dependence, family expectations, and the possibility of a new life.
