Synopsis

Young neurosurgeon Jo Hauser arrives at a Berlin hospital hoping to join Professor Mueller-LaRousse's groundbreaking research into artificial muscles. The work could offer hope for Jo's disabled brother, but the professor's secretive team follows the Anti-Hippocratic Society's belief that medical progress justifies any sacrifice. As Jo becomes involved, he discovers experiments conducted beyond ethical and legal limits.

• Anatomie 2 is the sequel to Anatomie (2000), but the story shifts from Heidelberg to Berlin and follows a largely new group of characters.

• The film was shot in Berlin and Munich between March 4 and April 15, 2002. Many exterior scenes were filmed at the Benjamin Franklin University Hospital in Berlin-Lichterfelde.
