Synopsis

In Paris, an American jewelry-store clerk becomes involved with a charming expatriate whose relationship with an older woman is already entangled in crime. As the clerk and the man plan a daring robbery, secrets, jealousy, and a failed smuggling operation turn their affair into a dangerous triangle, forcing everyone to question who is manipulating whom.
