Synopsis

Billionaire weapons manufacturer Tony Stark is captured by terrorists while demonstrating a powerful new missile in Afghanistan. Forced to build a weapon for his captors, he instead creates a crude armored suit and escapes. Haunted by the destruction caused by his company, Stark abandons weapons production and develops increasingly advanced armor to protect others as the armored hero Iron Man.
