Synopsis

At a discount warehouse store, laid-back clerk Zack becomes interested in Amy, a new cashier who admires ambitious employees. Determined to win her attention, he takes the store's Employee of the Month competition seriously for the first time. His chief obstacle is Vince, a relentless repeat winner whose polished record and ruthless tactics turn a workplace rivalry into an increasingly chaotic contest.

Factoids & Trivia

• The fictional Super Club store was filmed inside a Costco warehouse at 1420 N Renaissance Boulevard NE in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Costco branding was removed, although Kirkland Signature products and markings remain visible in places.

• Movie executives reportedly asked Dax Shepard to dye his hair blonde because they thought he looked too similar to Dane Cook.

• Eva Longoria appears in an alternate opening as a Super Club employee named Lily. The scene was removed from the theatrical version but included among the DVD special features.

• The DVD extras also include additional improvised material featuring Andy Dick and Harland Williams, along with an in-character featurette about Lon helping customers at Super Club.

• Dane Cook later wore the same Super Club hat in the 2007 romantic comedy "Good Luck Chuck."
