Synopsis

On their last day in town, best friends Disco and Mitch try to make quick money by rigging a minor league baseball game. Their scheme succeeds, but leaves them owing money to dangerous accomplices. With rumors spreading about their whereabouts, the pair decides to flee in their jointly owned 1976 Datsun 280Z. Their escape is delayed when the beloved car breaks down.
