Synopsis

Larry, a rule-bending city health inspector, is paired with Amy, a by-the-book rookie, after his reckless methods irritate his supervisor. When a wave of food poisonings strikes upscale restaurants, the duo is drawn into an investigation that Larry is officially barred from handling. Losing his job only pushes him further into an unauthorized effort to uncover who is behind the attacks.

• The film was originally developed as part of a Paramount first-look arrangement with Parallel Entertainment Pictures involving several Blue Collar Comedy-related projects. It was initially planned for a direct-to-DVD release before being shifted to theaters.

• Lionsgate handled the U.S. theatrical distribution, releasing the film nationwide on March 24, 2006. It later received a Paramount Home Video DVD release on August 8, 2006.

• The movie runs approximately 89 minutes and was released with a PG-13 rating for crude and sexual content, along with language.
