Synopsis

New York journalist Sarah Huttinger returns to Pasadena for her sister's wedding and discovers that her family may have inspired the events of The Graduate. Troubled by the possibility that a wealthy family friend is her biological father, Sarah investigates the long-buried scandal while questioning her engagement, her family history, and the choices shaping her own future.

• Screenwriter Ted Griffin was originally set to make his directorial debut with the project. After 12 days of filming, he was replaced, production was suspended, and Rob Reiner took over after revisions to the script, cast, and crew.
