Synopsis

Private detectives Jack Costello and Dumas are hired to escort a scientist carrying the formula for a deadly nerve gas. The scientist is murdered before reaching safety, but secretly leaves the formula in Costello's pocket. Unaware that he has become its carrier, Costello is pursued by terrorists and intelligence agents while they prepare a mass-casualty attack in Miami.

• The film is the second installment of the twelve-part Extralarge television series, also known in Germany as Zwei Supertypen in Miami.

• It was produced as an Italian-German-American television co-production and was filmed largely in the United States.

• The Italian television premiere took place on December 17, 1991. The German premiere followed on October 25, 1992, on RTL plus.

• Different markets used different titles, including Extralarge: Moving Target, Detective Extralarge: Bersaglio mobile and Extra Large: Deadly Object - Todliches Ziel.

• The film runs approximately 88 to 90 minutes, although some television versions are shorter.

• The German television version used a specially created opening sequence. It also replaced the first-season Extralarge theme by Amii Stewart with EMF's song "Unbelievable."

• A Miami Beach location at 1116 Ocean Drive served as the exterior for Costello's detective office.
