Synopsis

Set in the Nevada desert in 1972, Landspeed follows rival racing teams competing to break the 1,000-mile-per-hour land speed record. The contest promises a $50 million prize, but engineering setbacks, corporate pressure, personal rivalries, and the dangers of experimental rocket-powered vehicles threaten to derail the attempt before the teams can make history.
