Synopsis

Fourteen months after her young son dies in a plane crash, Telly Paretta is devastated when everyone around her insists the boy never existed. Her husband, psychiatrist, and authorities dismiss her memories as delusion, but Telly refuses to surrender them. As she searches for another parent connected to the tragedy, she uncovers a terrifying mystery involving erased identities, hidden motives, and forces beyond ordinary understanding.

• Revolution Studios purchased Gerald Di Pego's screenplay in 2001 and initially pursued Nicole Kidman for the lead role before Julianne Moore joined the project in 2003.
