Synopsis

In early 19th-century England, the ambitious Becky Sharp uses intelligence, charm, and opportunism to escape poverty and pursue wealth and social status. Her fortunes rise through marriage, war, and calculated relationships, while her loyal friend Amelia Sedley struggles with love and financial hardship. Their contrasting paths expose the privileges, hypocrisies, and shifting loyalties of fashionable society.
