Synopsis

Two childhood friends become Army Air Corps pilots as the United States approaches World War II. Their friendship is strained when both fall in love with the same nurse, but the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor forces them into combat. After the devastation in Hawaii, their personal rivalry gives way to a dangerous mission connected to the American response against Japan.
