Synopsis

Amanda Pierce, a New York art conservator, moves in with four models after discovering her boyfriend's infidelity. Across the street, she becomes fascinated by her handsome neighbor, Jim, and believes she witnesses him committing murder. When the police find no evidence, Amanda and her roommates investigate on their own, uncovering an undercover operation involving Russian criminals, stolen diamonds, and a very complicated romance.

• Claire Danes was originally cast as Amanda before Monica Potter took the role.

• The production used two Great Danes to play Hamlet. One was a two-year-old male and the other a four-year-old female. Five trainers were present on set, and American Humane monitored the animals under its "No Animals Were Harmed" program.
