Synopsis

Ana and Otto meet as children and form an intense, secret bond after their parents marry. Their relationship develops across years of separation, chance encounters, and painful misunderstandings, while both interpret their lives through patterns of coincidence and destiny. When adulthood brings them to Finland's Arctic Circle, the lovers search for one another beneath the endless daylight of the midnight sun.
