Synopsis

Newspaper columnist Ike Graham travels to Maryland to investigate Maggie Carpenter, a woman infamous for leaving several fiances at the altar. After his original article brings him trouble, Ike finds himself drawn into Maggie's latest engagement and begins questioning whether her fear of marriage hides a deeper struggle to discover her own identity and desires.
