Synopsis

When Stu Pickles is summoned to Paris to repair a malfunctioning Reptar robot, the Rugrats travel with him and Chas Finster. Chuckie, still grieving the loss of his mother, hopes to find a new one. His search becomes complicated when Chas is drawn to kindhearted Kira, while the babies uncover a scheme involving the ruthless manager of EuroReptarland.

• Released on November 17, 2000, the film is the sequel to The Rugrats Movie (1998) and the second theatrical feature based on the Nickelodeon series.

• The story introduces Kimi Watanabe and her mother, Kira, who became important additions to the Rugrats television franchise.

• Coco LaBouche and Jean-Claude are the franchise's first major human villains. Coco's intense dislike of children provides the film with an exaggerated parody of a ruthless theme-park executive.

• The soundtrack mixes original songs with contemporary pop, including "Who Let the Dogs Out" by the Baha Men. The album also features music by Jessica Simpson, T-Boz, Amanda Carter, and Aaron Carter.
