Synopsis

Marine sniper James Dunn is serving a death sentence when a covert military unit offers him a chance at redemption. Assigned to assassinate a political target, Dunn is instead framed for the murder of the First Lady. Hunted by federal agents, soldiers, and bounty hunters, he must protect a reluctant witness while exposing the conspiracy behind the killing.

• Keenen Ivory Wayans wrote the screenplay and played the lead role, making the film a major departure from his better-known comedy work on In Living Color.

• Wayans reportedly drew some of the story's research from material he found on the Internet, an unusual source for a major 1990s action thriller.
