Synopsis

Aging minor-league pitcher Gus Cantrell is offered one last chance to stay in baseball by managing the struggling South Carolina Buzz. The team is packed with eccentric players, washed-up veterans, and raw prospects. With owner Roger Dorn demanding results and the Minnesota Twins looming over the franchise, Gus must turn the dysfunctional roster into a competitive ball club.
