Synopsis

On New Year's Eve, newly hired bellhop Ted begins his first shift at the Hotel Mon Signor. As he serves guests in four adjoining rooms, he encounters a coven's bizarre ritual, a jealous husband, two dangerously unsupervised children, and an extravagant Hollywood party. The increasingly chaotic night pushes Ted from nervous professionalism toward desperate improvisation and outright survival.

• The film was originally planned as Five Rooms, with Richard Linklater expected to contribute a segment. His story was dropped before production began.

• The four sections were created as separate episodes but linked through Ted's overnight shift and the fictional Hotel Mon Signor. Events in the children's room overlap with those in the preceding segment.
