Synopsis

An anxious book-jacket writer travels from New York to Savannah for his wedding, but a frightening incident during takeoff leaves him stranded. Forced to continue the journey by car, train, and foot, he is accompanied by Sarah, a free-spirited stranger whose impulsive outlook clashes with his cautious nature. As mishaps and severe weather delay them, the trip challenges his plans and his commitment to marriage.

• Although the story begins with a New York departure, the airport scenes were filmed at the Main Terminal of Washington Dulles International Airport.

• Production used locations in Savannah, Georgia, and South Carolina. The Joseph Johnson House in Beaufort, South Carolina, known locally as "The Castle," portrayed the Cahill family home.
