Synopsis

Absent-minded Medfield College professor Philip Brainard is desperate to invent an energy source that can save his struggling school, but his experiments repeatedly interfere with his relationship with Sara Jean Reynolds. When he accidentally creates a lively, gravity-defying substance he names Flubber, Philip sees a chance to solve his problems. Unfortunately, the invention attracts unwanted attention from rivals while Philip tries to repair his neglected romance.
