Synopsis

During a prison work detail, career criminal Charles Piper is chained to computer hacker Mark Dodge when gunfire erupts around them. Forced to escape together, the mismatched fugitives are pursued by police, corrupt officials, and criminals seeking a computer disk containing dangerous evidence. As they race across Georgia, distrust gradually gives way to cooperation.

• Principal photography took place from November 20, 1995, through February 21, 1996.

• The production used several Georgia locations, including Atlanta, the Georgia Dome, Douglas County, and Stone Mountain. A train sequence was filmed on the Tennessee Valley Railroad in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

• The film's soundtrack was released by Rowdy Records and Arista Records on July 15, 1996. It focuses largely on hip-hop and R&B, reached No. 60 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, and included the single "Touch Myself."
