Synopsis

Ashtray is sent to live with his father in South Central Los Angeles, where his gun-toting cousin Loc Dog introduces him to the neighborhood's chaotic rules. As Ashtray pursues a relationship with Dashiki and encounters gang disputes, police trouble, and family eccentricities, he discovers that life in the hood is even stranger than the movies suggest.
