Synopsis

When his wife becomes ill, an overworked father reluctantly takes responsibility for a neighborhood carpool. A routine school run turns chaotic when a desperate carnival owner robs a grocery store and escapes with the children as hostages. Pursued by police and other criminals, the mismatched group endures a series of increasingly absurd detours that force the father to reconsider his priorities.
