Synopsis

During the summer of 1969, Pearl Kantrowitz spends another season with her family at a Catskills bungalow colony while her husband works in New York City. As the moon landing and Woodstock symbolize a rapidly changing America, Pearl begins an affair with a charismatic blouse salesman. The experience forces her to confront her marriage, motherhood, identity, and long-suppressed desire for freedom.
