Steve
I've always wondered about something, and maybe someone here can help me.
What mountain is that in the famous Paramount Pictures symbol? Is it a famous mountain?

Paramount was founded by William Wadsworth Hodkinson who came up with the logo drawing from memory the mountains near Ogden, Utah, where he grew up. While no mountain is ever specified, most believe it to be Mount Ben Lomond in the Wasatch Range as it is the most striking landmark in the area.

> Actually, I believe that the symbol comes from Gunsight Mountain in Glacier National Park. You may wish to look up photos of St. Mary Lake toward Wild Goose Island. At the end of the lake is Gunsight Mountain, which looks remarkably like Paramount's mountain.
