Does anyone know the theme music from the new Cisco ad 'Meanwhile on planet Earth...'? It was directed by Errol Morris. It seems familiar but I can't place it.

Hope it's some help... from the sound, it seems the music is by the minimalist composer, Philip Glass. It is possibly from the movie The Truman Show -- Glass composed several pieces in that. For the musically inclined, it's a chord progression repeating over and over, maybe something along the lines of C minor-Aflat Major-Eflat Major-G7, then repeating. Good luck.

Well, We are all thinking of the same piece. :) Its a start! I'm dl'ing several of Philip Glass's songs and I'll let everyone know if I find the right one :)

IT sounds close, real close.. 'Truman Sleeps' From the Truman show.. But something doesnt quite sound the same.. If someone can check it out and let me know :)

I have been following this thread and downloaded the Truman sleeps song, and you are right, it just isn't quite right. Though It does seem to start off with the same few notes. I guess we'll keep looking!

Here is a link to the Cisco website where you can watch and more importantly, listen to their commercials. I have asked them if they could send info on the music used in this commercial, I'll post when/if I hear anything back...
