It's the Kings of Leon. The song is called Molly's Chambers. I ran across this once before with the commercial that shows the old guy breaking out the rest home and going to Vegas with his grandson. If you go to vw.com and search on "music" it'll link you to the page with their commercials where they list the artist and song name.

The song's called "Molly's Chambers" and it's by Kings of Leon.
