I think the song your thinking of is called "the weight" and is sung by The Band, yes they're just called The band...they were the band behind Bob Dylan hence the name, at least that's what I've been told. The recently released the remastered version of their greatest hits, definitely worth picking up if you have the dough, it doesn't dissappoint!!!
