I have been trying to find it also and just located the info below on the web. I think we both like the second piece, Flower Duet:

British Airways
British Airways have used Va Pensiero, popularly known as The Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves, from the opera Nabucco, by Giuseppe Verdi, as well as an arrangement of the Flower Duet, from the opera Lakmé, by Léo Delibes

Hi.

They are playing Lakme

Yes, it is the song Aria by Yanni (I'm sure you know who he is, but in case you don't he's that Greek composer with long hair). In fact, I was listening to Aria just now when I thought of searching the web for a really old BA TV ad circa 1987 that first had this song, and that's how found this query posted. Hope this helps :)

I expect you know by now - drove me insane too.

The music is of course The Flower Duet from Lakmé (British Airways Advert).

Very beautiful yes?

well if you still want to know the music from the BA ad, it is the Flower Duet, from the Delibes' opera, Lakme.

It is my favourit ever!

(and, if by any chance you decide to buy it, just choose the EMI with Natalie Dessay and José Van Dam, directed by Michel Plasson)

Regards
