Recently saw R.E.M. in Austin, Texas... they are carrying a second guitar player on the tour that I'm pretty sure is Dave Stewart. If it's not Dave, this guy is a dead-ringer for him -- hair, beard, style, and everything. Can anyone confirm this? |

Oh, and I just saw them this morning on the Today Show, and again, I am convinced that Dave Stewart is the second guitar player. No introductions for the extra bandmembers, though, so I can't be 100% sure. Both times (Austin and Today Show) 'Dave' was wearing a cowboy hat and dark sunglasses, which I know the real 'Dave' frequently does. |
