Yes, it is the song Aria by Yanni (I'm sure you know who he is, but in case you don't he's that Greek composer with long hair). In fact, I was listening to Aria just now when I thought of searching the web for a really old BA TV ad circa 1987 that first had this song, and that's how found this query posted.
